you mean just Ric Flair and Hogan?

the difference between Johnny Saint, Ric Flair and Hogan is.... JOHNNY SAINT CAN STILL WRESTLE!

but this dvd set ends around the early 90s so it has nothing to do with an old man still wrestling ...

Whatever era I choose to watch wrestling from doesnt really matter because every match I post or watch has people who are actually skilled in the ring.

I try to bring WRESTLING and quality matches to this board its not my fault if you choose not to watch them but still talk shit on them. Sorry for not posting to most recent stupid cena match where he no sells everything and fumbles his way through a match.

So why dont you just buy this set and enjoy some wrestling instead of the cluster fucks that WWE and TNA make?

Love ya :lick:

Johnny Saint can still wrestle.. Ok..

But who the fuck is Johnny Saint?

I just don't understand how you knock everything that is "old" in TNA and WWE and then you post up topics about old-ass wrestling. Why not enjoy what's still fuckin' there while you can instead of looking back and wishing you had seen more of this guy or that guy?

Fuck it man, it's not real.

Even watching guys fuck up and fail, is entertaining... If you can talk about it the next day, then you were entertained, one way or the other.

Edit: And I didn't mean to step on your thread.

Did you read the first post in this thread and watch the video?
it answers your question

And whats all this "knocking everything that is old in TNA and WWE"?

RIC FLAIR
HULK HOGAN
NASTY BOYS

thats it. nothing else is old.

and most everything I have been posting in the PURO thread is from 1990 or later

I do enjoy what is here, thats why I comment on all the WWE programs as well as TNA. As a wrestling fan it wont kill you to watch a good match regardless of when its from.

Dont be a mark

Look, all I am trying to do is spread my wrestling knowledge to the fans of only WWE and TNA.

The wrestling world is big and people should really take a look at all the companies out there and not just TNA and WWE

But a good 50-60 percent of what makes wrestling good, is the buildup to the matches. So when you just post up an old match, people don't really give too much of a shit even if the mat wrestling is excellent.

If you don't know the "characters" in the match, then you're just watching two guys wrestle. Really good technical wrestling can be boring as FUCK. Ask Dean Milenko about that. That's why indy shows are only popular (mostly) in their own territory. The fans that can go to a show every week are there every fucking week, and they know the "story" to the matches. But if you put that on the interwebs and some dude from across the country is watching it, all he sees is a low budget ring and production.

I get your point though sir...

I think what makes a match is.... the match. Build up means something but no way is it 50 to 60% of what makes up a match. Yes Technical wrestling can be extremely boring at times but you can tell by watching the video I posted that Johnny saint is all about chain wrestling. Chain wrestling is a bit more interesting since its a constant flowing of wrestling. As you can see with the Johnny Saint video he busts out some really unique moves that i am sure none of you have ever seen before.

As for the matches I post.... most of them are full of action. Go back to that PURO thread... you dont need to know who is wrestling to enjoy to skilled guys beating the piss out of eachother. as far as the indies go... PWG and ROH are extremely popular so much so that a lot of them do shows with NJPW, AJPW, NOAH the 3 big name wrestling companies in japan.
The first time I saw PWG was a best of 3 disk set my friend gave me.(PWG SELLS OUT VOL. 1) Not knowing anyone at the time I still enjoyed all the crazy action. Now I follow PWG.

And you dont have to be a Dory Funk Jr. mat wrestling god to be a good wrestle...

I take it you really have not watched a lot of the matches I posted in full. Here is a quick 10 minute match. Please watch this and tell me you didnt enjoy it.

Honestly.... this 10 minute match puts on more action then any TNA, WWE main event

Prince Devitt Vs Kota Ibushi
