do any of u know the differences between kerry and bush on the war against terror and why you think kerry would make a better commander in chief?

also can someone explain that whole 'throwing his medals' thing?

anyone have any suggestion on what kerry should do in the next weeks to get himself back in the media spotlight and in the front pages of newspapers? what if he went and visited iraq u think that would get some front page attention?

The differences between Kerry and Bush is that Bush is more "gung-ho" about this war, as opposed to Kerry. I'm not necessarily sure that Kerry would be a better commander in chief, seeing has how he was voting for a Nuclear Freeze when Reagan was trying to build up our military to beat Communism.

When John Kerry returned from the war, he became a superstar protestor against it. One of the acts was throwing his medals. Some people blast his account on what happened, because once he said he threw his medals, another time he said he threw his ribbons, and right wing people think he is flip flopping by saying that. Personally, I know that in military lingo, medals and ribbons are interchangable words when in reference to decoration that you receive in war, and I know that Kerry actually DOES flip flop on issues of more imporance than what he was doing when the Beatles were the biggest band in the world. Another account says that he threw other soldiers medals over the fence of a governement building.

In the next few weeks, John Kerry needs to take a strong stance on his policies and get better speechwriters. While some of his statements about "I voted for the 87 billion for Iraq before I voted against it" will mislead 90% of the population, I know what he was talking about. However, no news outlet wants to carry his long, drawn out explanation between the two circumstances. He needs to get clever speechwriters that can give him good quips to use that can show what he stands for, and that will get played on prime time TV. But not all of his stances are like that...on many instances he actually DOES flip flop and he needs to make a stand about these issues. I personally dont think he needs to go to Iraq. You don't see Bush visiting Iraq. Because Kerry is not as well known here in the states, he needs to keep hitting THE STATES hard. I doubt the Iraqi people give one thought to Kerry, seeing as how he is not the one in charge right now. Really, who would he be trying to impress? People who can't even vote for him.

My solution for John Kerry:
-Try to convince Clinton to delay his book release (its right before the DNC)
-More fundraising
-TV appearances on Meet The Press, Hannity and Colmes (i know he was just on there, but he didnt get to talk to Sean), and other widely viewed shows.
-Hire better speechwriters and find someone to remake his image as someone personable
-Take a stance on his real flip flop issues.

God bless.
