"He is a genuinely nice guy and a fantastic human being. What I kind of get peeved about, and this is my Achilles heel, is that I've wanted to do this my whole life. Rock falls into that category. At one point he loved wrestling and wanted to do this all his life. So explain to me why he can't come back. Simply put it's because he wants to be an actor and there's nothing wrong with that. He's very good and very successful. Associating with sports entertainment doesn't do much for his acting career. I get it. Just don't f*** me around and tell me that you love this. That's the only thing that gets me really p***ed off. Our fan base have so much admiration for him, he's got to respect that. He doesn't give anything back."

The difference between Rock and Cena is tahts Rock was actually a natural wrestling talent mic and in the ring while Cena was hand picked, molded and forced too soon by Vince, Same as Orton I still dont think Orton is quite ready for that belt yet they shouldve let him do some classic matches first then gave him the tittle.

Also the tittle was worth more back in the HBK, AUSTIN, ROCK,HHH, FOLEY attitude ERA . Now the tittle isnt really nothing bc alot of weak matches took place the last couple years.

because of WWE hes able to go out and do the things hes doing. Think he woulda got that role in the Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King without being in WWF first? So the least he can do is thank the company and the fans by showing up a few times a year. He turns down appearances almost all the time. PPV's, the Raw 15th anniversary and others. Only reason hes doing HOF this year is cuz its his family.

What Cena is saying is dont talk about how you love the industry and the fans and not ever show up.

Dog as big an ass as vince is the rock now that he doesnt need him most likely doesnt want anything to do with him. The fans would love it but when it comes down to it, its about money and the rock isnt hurting for it so why even come around I know he say he loves the industry but I thinking he says it more out of respect then hey im going to come around two three times a year. He doesnt want to spit on his fan base but im sure he not worried about wwe ratings.

I understand where Cena is coming from, if you say you love something, and its your passion to do it, then turn your back on it, it isnt right, its selling out, and lying to the people who follow him

I'm a fan of Cena. I met him at a signing, and he's a pretty cool dude. But he shouldn't be bitter of the fact that Rock's right pinky toe could out-wrestle him, and that Rock's right butt cheek could cut a promo 42679 x better than Cena ever could.

He needs to know his role and shut his mouth.

Yeah i can see where he's coming from....although The Rock is no longer in wrestling and you can say he doesnt owe WWE or wrestling shit anymore, it got him where he is today. The least he can do is make appearances here and there, not necessarily wrestle but at least give back to the fans and the company that gave him a chance and made him what he is today by showing face

You can love something, while moving on. Seriously, some of your morons are retarded.

Should you make an appearance at your local high school a few times a year, because, if it wasn't for the faculty and whatnot, you'd be a homeless bum unable to afford internet?

Come on...he's moved on. He doesn't owe anyone shit. With the amount of money they (WWE, VINCE, ETC.) made on him, he can wipe his hands of the company.

lol i feel u g.. what the fuck is they talkin bout, wrestling takes a toll on ur body, and the rock aint gettin no younger.. he dont need knees like hogan.. cena just talkin because his movie flopped a while back.. the rock was at last year's HOF too, not just this upcoming year.. so why does he have to make an appearance, a lot of ex-wrestlers that make appearances are usually hard on money, thats why they there spongin what they can get out they fame (i.e. look at the iron sheik and ultimate warrior videos on youtube).. the rock has moved on to bigger and better things, just because he aint jumpin at vince mcmahon's whim when he calls for him doesnt mean he forgot what brought him there.. who are they to speak for the rock.. and since we thinkin like that then snoop and dre better get back with deathrow, ice cube better quit actin and puttin out big numbers in movies and get back to priority.. because they loved it at one time.. there's muthafuckas that are 50, 60 years old that played football and baseball and will love it till they dying day, but they aint gotta get back on the field and put on a show for u.. ya'll should be mad at jerry rice, nolan ryan, and michael jordan because they aint playin anymore either.. or wait ya'll are thankful for what they did on the field huh?? people cant just retire and get on with they lives?? get that shit outta here

I'm all for him moving on...

except that as far as I know, they still bill him as "The Rock" in his movies. Which means he is STILL making his money off of his wrestling fame. For him to REFUSE to do a few appearances a year is not much to ask for in my opinion, and it would only help his career.

You can't tell people you no longer wrestle, and then star in a fucking movie under your wrestling name...

I bet if the NBA called Jordan, or the NFL called Rice to show up at an event they would show. No ones asking them to return full time, but special events like Hall of Fame, All Star Games, Super Bowls/NBA Finals they know they owe it to the fans who paid their hard earned money to buy the seats that paid their checks.

Im pretty sure Jerry Rice was at the coin toss for the Super Bowl this year, and Jordan was one of the judges in the slam dunk contest last year. For The Rock to say he cant show up for the 15th Anniversary of the show that made him the worldwide superstar he is is bullshit. This coming from a huge Rock fan.

The Rock is known as Dwayne Johnson now. They even introduced him that at the Oscars..

The thing that would get me as the Rock.. Floyd Mayweather just got payed 20 million dollars to wrestle the Big Show..

I'd be willing to bet that the Rock would be willing to do a match and a program for that type of bank.. And honestly, The Rock would probably draw more people to buy Mania, because the mainstream media hasn't picked up on the Mayweather story like they wanted them to.
