Why is there such a double standard with this issue between white people's perspective and that of many other races? 99% of the "white" people I know don't really even know exactly where their ancestors came from and if you asked them, they would all say they are American, just like Jessica Alba is doing. Why is it different for them? Many of whom have grandparents that moved here making them and Jessica Alba the same generation American, but because her grandparents came from Mexico there is a different standard?
I mean if I became a movie star tommorow and everyone was asking me "how does it feel to be such a succesful Irish actor?" I would be like bitch I am fucking American. I don't get it.
