Jerry Porter already hatin' on Moss...

Moss joins Jerry Porter </players/playerpage/187624> in a talented young receiving corps. Porter led the Raiders with 64 catches for 998 yards and nine touchdowns, falling just short of his first 1,000-yard season. His receptions were a career high, and he scored three touchdowns in a game twice.
"We've got to check our egos, and the ball has to be distributed in a way to make everybody happy," said Porter, who re-signed for five years last week.

This isn't a good sign. Bad chemisty is in the making thanks to Jerry Porter. As long as the Raiders are winning it shouldn't matter who the ball is going to. Randy is going to draw double teams which means more one on one oopurtunities for Porter (the dummy). Porter needs to shut up. He's already starting trouble and it's only March. Randy is going to get paid so of course most of the balls may go his way. We all have seen Randy catch TD's in double coverage. Porter just needs to shut up, play, and get open and the rest will take care of itself. What the hell is he talking about?

Is Porter going to be unhappy because he's not getting the same amount of balls thrown his way? Why does everybody have to be happy? As long as you're winning everybody should be happy right? One day after his team got smacked 48-21 in the Super Bowl, Raiders WR Jerry Porter was talking smack about the Buccaneers’ defensive backfield. His team gets whipped top to bottom in the world’s biggest game, and all he can do is say his scout team defensive backs (where were they when Brad Johnson was picking on Charles Woodson all day?) are better competition. The game was not a fluke — it was a flat-out beating, top to bottom. And it’s not like Porter had a magnificent day, and no one else showed up to play. It was a team loss.

Granted, the Bucs’ pressure was the major reason for its defensive success, but who cares? The Raiders were soundly beaten on both sides of the ball. This kind of complaining makes the Raiders look like poor sports — a reputation I thought they had shed. Evidently not. The Raiders’ new motto: Just whine, baby.

Naaaa man I am a Saints fan. I just thought those comments were in-appropriate especially after the trade just became official. Also Porter was the one complaining during the "season" when he wasn't offered a contract. He's a good player with a big mouth. He just needs to shut up and play. He just signed a new contract so he shouldn't even be running his mouth.

Come on now.... just because the Raiders have Randy Moss doesn't mean that they automatically are going to win the Superbowl. If that was the case Minnesota would have won superbowls. Yes the Raiders are stacked at the receiver position but that doesn't mean they have it locked like you're making it seem.

I was just getting on Porter because he's hating... what if Randy catches over 100 balls? Will Porter be happy?
