It's called being in 'relative' obscurity homie. Dude had prolly the biggest chance to really put it down for the city and he fucced it off! How the fucc you gon be down with Def Jam and NOT blow up? The shit that make it so bad though is that he one of the tightest up out of Dago, But he is the perfect example of what selfishness will do to a nigga.

I dont know Jayo personally so I cant speak on his selfishness but Russel Simmons basically fucked the west coast...his piece of shit company was in financial troulbe like 10 years ago then he locked down a west coast branch(Warren G Jayo South Central Cartel) all that shit sold and he made money and got back on his feet then all of a sudden he stopped promoting west coast albums...he put money into all these DefJam fags you see now and really killec off Jayos career because they didnt really do shit to promote his album like they do there New York albums....so really Jayo needs to do like a lot of these niggas and go back to trunk sales and make his independent paper

I've talked to him recently, but we didn't really talk about his new album. Last he told me about that it's called Hogg Tied. We just been hollarin' about shows. We tryin' to get this Australia shit still to cracc. The promoter and Jayo are still workin' out. Plus I plugged him with a show in the bay with my homey Mark. I think it's going to be Jayo, C-Bo and the WCM. My homey wants me on the show too, but I don't know if we're going to be able to make it or not. 1

And the reason he's not on any Dago comps is cuz he's not out here all the time (but don't believe that shit when niggaz say he don't go to his set). The nigga be gettin' his travel on, but also cuz of what he charges is one of the reasons is not on too much Dago shit (he deserves it, but niggaz can't afford it).

Holla Back and give us your response on that last post you just made.

I don't wanna ride on him (that would be beef in my book) it's just fuck him on minz behind some an shit.

I said that Loco, well let's look at it:

Jayo Felony- Dope Gangsta Lyricist

W.C.- Mediocre Gangsta Lyricist (Bit Jayo's Style)

Both having been on Def Jam, both NOT blow up..Now..You can look at Jayo Felony and KNOW that he's dope, BUt didn't get the push or promotion of a lot of them wacc ass eastcoast niggas, possibly even poor single selections, also with his last album, How come Def Jam waited so long to put out the "Wat'cha Gon Do" album after he had a big hit with the Single by the same name with Method man and Red-Man..??? Overstood, there was a lot of mis-steps with Cuzz's shit, some his own fault, some his label, but that's a legitimate reason for not having blown up, cuzz we all know it ain't due to the fact that Felony is wacc..Now..

W.C. been around for years (I.E. WC and the Maad Circle, ain't a damn thing changed, etc..etc...) BUT, he did have the opportunity to rap with the Platinum "put together group' of Wset-side Connection with Ice Cube and Mack-10, So everybody knows that Platinum is 1 millions copies sold, It ain't like muthaphuccas don't know who Dub C is, they do..they just don't want to fucc with him becuzz alone, rappin by his-self?...HE'S WACC! straight up! and THAT'S why that muathaphucca ain't blow up. there it is there..

Jayo didn't blow up because he was on Jam Masters Jay record label (JMJ) and he wasn't handling business with Jayo like he should of. Jayo was about to leave but JMJ said give him one more album. So, Jayo did that " Whatch gonna do with it" talking to the label asking, what are you gonna do with the this album Im giving you! He got some big name artists like meth and etc.... To get some promotion because Def Jam, who JMJ was under, were only pushin and paying attention to the east coast artists. So Jayo got them east coast artists on his shit to get Def Jams attention. After that, dont know, but I do know he came out with another song and video (forgot the name) but it wasn't slappin like "whatcha gonna do with it". "whatcha gonna........" blew up because people could dance to it. Wasn't a hard core song at all!

Okay, Ecay set it up and I'm gonna put it like this.. Jayo Felony had a HARD 1st album and to me, his second one didn't have but a few good tracks (in my opinion). I remember being so disappointed with his second one after listening through song #4 that I wanted to take it back. I can honestly say that I don't think he got a good push REALLY from Def Jam, but he didn't have a 2nd single to me and that album was not crackin.. I hipped A GRIP of people to Take A Ride and that was my shit for a while, but since then not too much has stood out. I refuse to believe that's all he has in him cuz he can come hard, but he needs to refocus and realize that people in Dago are not looking up to him anymore and he needs to either up the game and some other people from his area in the process or take his own route and continue to ride off his old success (which ain't gonna work).. but point blank, He needs to wise up for himself. He can't use people, be dishonest, and expect respect back... it doesn't work like that. I don't know what he's doin right now but I hope he pulls himself together for him cuz I hate to see shit like that go to waste.. but if he's as shady as the people I'm around make him out to be then I really don't give a fuck

Ecay you gotta realize that a lot of us on here are just fans....i aint never had to do business with Jayo so I cant speak on that mans business tactics..but i believe what you saying bout him cuz everybody on here agrees...but i DO like dudes music and its no secret how Russ Simmons and Lyor Cohen feel about west coast rap so he didnt blow up cuz of lack of promotion.....

but honestly WC been out since like 91 or 92 so how he bite Jayos style
