He hit a HR in the bottom of the 8th today in Oakland, his first home run in 738 AB's. That was longest among active players.

Rex Hudler (an Angel's Announcer) said 9 hundred something (can't remember). 931 does sound about right though.

900 plus AB's, man thats about 2 years or more.

What's up ith Macha bribing his hitters? Told Kendall he would give him $200 when he hit his homer. Bet Swisher he couldnt hit one out in left field. Bet another player (can't remember) that he can't double to the right. Heard it on Angel Talk, so I dont know if it is true, but it's just kind of odd.

kendall is most over paided player. a's played way too much for him.
The A's got rid of Arthur Rhodes and Mark Redman (two HORRIBLE A's players) in return for Kendall... It was a decent trade. His salary was determined by the Pirates, not the A's.

They were talking about it on the A's broadcast... I think he bet Kendall he wouldn't hit a HR... He bet Swisher he wouldn't hit one out batting right.. And he bet Crosby he wouldn't hit one out to the opposite field... And also bet Blanton he wouldn't pitch a complete game shutout... I think... It started as a joke, but shit, whatever works...

does kendell make like $10 million a year.? when that contact expires they better resign for 1-3 million at most or let him go.
They have a few young catchers coming up... They probably won't keep Kendall.

I think Kendall makes somewhere between $9-$11M, but I'm pretty sure the Pirates are paying some of that.

i was at that game, shit was amazing, everyone was going crazy and didnt stop clapping for like half an inning. it barely went over the wall too. i think it was something like 730 at-bats, and 900 something plate appearances, but whatever...im just glad he finally did it, shit was rediculous.
