MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (AP) -- A Michigan jail inmate says he's being subjected to cruel and unusual punishment because he can't have pornography.

In a handwritten lawsuit, 21-year-old Kyle Richards claims his civil rights are being violated at the Macomb County Jail. Richards says denying his request for erotic material subjects him to a "poor standard of living" and "sexual and sensory deprivation."

The Michigan Department of Corrections tells The Detroit News that prisons allow some pornographic material, though it's banned at the jail. The American Civil Liberties Union says prisons have a lot of leeway.

Richards was charged with bank robbery after police followed a trail of snowy footprints and dropped money to his apartment from a bank robbery scene in January in Fraser, north of Detroit.

Richards pleaded guilty. Sentencing is Aug. 2

THIS! Hell, if inmates were allowed to fuck their girlfriends once or twice a month, I'm sure problems would decrease significantly.

It's like any mammal. You have a male dog, he's going to be somewhat hostile. Neuter him, he's going to chill the fuck out 'cause the hormones go bye bye. You lock a bunch of dudes up with no pussy, shit is going to get bad. You let 'em fuck, all those hormones aren't built up...and dudes will relax (even if it's just a little bit).

What does that have to do with allowing them playboy magazines? Congugal visits is another story and I am not sure I agree with that, mostly for the fact that some of them broads will end up pregnant, which means another child is born into this world with a father in prison..thats not good for the mother and definitely not good for the child....but thats another story...we're talking about magazines here.....

Of course, but I'm sure that some inmates are sticking it to other inmates because its the closest thing to a pussy they can get....also, after a nut is bust, in general you are less aggressive...I've busted a nut and couldnt even go workout after....lol...it took all my aggression and energy out of me...

Do you really care that an inmate saw some titties on a page? Someone inform me, do they allow them to view other magazines? Sports, music, etc? IF they do, then bring on the playboy.....thats my opinion...
