I have fell out of Hed (pe)'s music after there 4th album.......Jarhed is pretty good with what he does on the mic....but, his lyrics have been lacking alot on there new material.

With Insomnia, they were trying to meet a personal deadline, and Jahred completely mixed it on his Laptop.

Some of the tracks were really good, but there were a couple filler tracks.

Cool Jah is pretty straight sometimes. HED P.E. is sick as fuck... I think a Tech track with the whole band woudl be tight too.

And sicne Hed said they were releaseing a new CD every year till 2012, didnt 2 albums come out in the same year? Back 2 Base X and Insomnia... cuz if they did then do we still get a CD everyear or since they put out 2 CDs that counted for 2 years?

Jah posted the NWO thing in a bulletin yesterday, too. I think it was actually the same bulletin. And, Back 2 Base X came out in 2006. Insomnia in 2007. So yeah, we're still getting an album a year.

My bad... It was the Best of, and B2BX that Came out in the same year... I remember one of em was in the same year, but yea i rememebr thatthe Best of wasnt really by HED P.E. but it was there old record companys last attempt to make money off them for the stuff they recorded under their label.

Jah's dope, I like most of the tracks on Insomnia, a lot of the heavier tracks especially like Tienamen(sp) Square, Atlantis AD, and Children.

I definitely agree that this is hopefully better than the verse with Twiztid, and that HED Pe and Twiztid should do an album together as a full group. Vocal trio over the live instrumentals.

QFT. KMK tracks are almost always a waste of a good Tech verse. FTI2 was dope without them. Hell, even the ICP collab was better. :angry:
