Spook: Welcome Jrizzle!
JRZ: Good to be here.
Spook: Let get things crackin! First of all, JRZ, how do you feel about the rap genre these days?
JRZ: It sucks...Underground sucks and mainstream sucks.... Everything sucks! Especially these so called "Wicked Rappers" coming out, costume wearing nutriders trying to act the part of a psycho clown or something. I used to sport a gimmick, until I grew up.
Spook: Who do you enjoy listening to in these days of wack raps and shitty genres?
JRZ: Ummm right now. Journey, KISS, Foreigner, Blue Oyster Cult, Scorpions (THATS RIGHT DJ MARK 7, THE FRIGGIN' SCORPS), Whitesnake, and the list goes on. MARK 7 hates the SCORPS!
Spook: Have you given up on rap?
JRZ: Nah, I like rap, I just don't listen to a lot of it. I haven't for a while. My Camaro doesn’t like rap much. Makes my speakers pop.
Spook: What do you think of the whole idea that white people don't belong in rap?
JRZ: White people invented RAP… I believe it was Elvis. He had that indie album called "Strictly for my WHITEYS" but it was too much for the public to handle. Then, some brotha's stole his flow and made bucks. Shame man
Spook: Plan on taking back the genre anytime soon?
JRZ: Possible. If all the other crap out there doesn’t get better. I'm into diversity. I hate listening to this crap and every song sounds the same! Hooks sound the same, flows sound the same, beats sound the same...FUCK! On my new project I don't think any song sounds alike. I believe people will dig that. I have more than one style I can do
Spook: By project do you mean the one you and Castro The Savage have been working on as of late?
JRZ: Yeah, the Castro Project is the only thing I am working on right now. I may put something solo out, but I don’t know yet.
Spook: What is it like working with Castro? As far as I know he has the same opinion on rap.
JRZ: It's great working with him again. Castro and I have been collabing since I first started in music. I believe I was doing music with him even before Mars. But we always had great ideas for songs and we both enjoy drinking, drugs and getting stupid in the studio (hence the last sampler we put out).
Spook: What is this project all about? What does it mean to you and Castro?
JRZ: It means where back and talking a lot of shit. We know shit sucks right now so we want to put something out that is actually worth a listen. Also we want to bring shit back to the old MIR days. Lyrics that make you want to laugh, puke, or kill us.
Spook: Are you guys going to be throwing out names and tell other artist how you feel about them on this project? We all know you guys love to piss people off.
JRZ: Yes we already threw out quite a few names. People who we even are (where) cool with. We are going to start a few beefs. BRING IT ON!
Spook: Sounds like it should be a dope listen. Have any other projects in the works at the moment?
JRZ: Well, I have a project I’m working on trying to get my penile inserted in this 12 year old.
Spook: Ha ha ha always got to be on your toes around this guy! Having any plans for Mad Insanity? A lot of us were diggin " Drunk Drivin", perhaps a Mad Insanity song here and there or possibly an album?
JRZ: Well Mars’ and me are for sure going to collab again on some tracks, but as far as an album I am not sure. We'll see, but no plans at this time.
Spook: Do you have any plans on releasing some of your old material or albums in the future?
JRZ: I have a lot of old songs that I found and where never released. I was thinking of throwing some online for the world to enjoy. I don't have any plans of a re-release of my stuff though. Maybe someday I will, but I like my newer music much better.
Spook: Well, I’m all out questions for now.
JRZ: Good! I need to shit in a minute.
Spook: Want to give anyone a shout out before you go take a shit?
JRZ: umm, yeah I want to give a big shout out to myself for ruling so much.... FUCK I RULE. That’s everyone worthy of my acknowledgments. Got to look out for number one baby. Now I'm off to take a number two!
Spook: Thanks for the Interview. Take it easy.
JRZ: No problem. Later.
