A few yearz back I use 2 fuck with music comin outta Sac real tough & from 95 to 2001 I use 2 buy a lot of music from Sac but now I only fuck with music from the niggaz I been listening 2 for yearz. I love what T-Nutty & the Nuttfactors are doing but most of the new generation of Sac hip hop iz weak az hell. I don't wanna dwell too much in the past but 10 yearz ago it looked like Sac waz gonna take over the rap game. Itz a good thing OG'z like X, Bo & Lynch can still tear shit up on the mic.

But at the same time if everyone in sac is trying to rap it can only lead to good things. Look at everyone comin out of Houston. This is the first time Sac has been this energized in a long time, we just gotta keep grinding

Yeah I hear u but Houston haz a lot more quantity then quality right now. 10-12 yearz ago when Houston wasn't blowing up they had really good music & less acts comin out. Same thing with Sac about 8 yearz ago. Just a few artist were out but the quality of the music waz high. Sac needz less rapperz & better music.

i dont think sac will ever be recognized...individual artist will make it from sac...my cuz doey got it...but the bay dont even respect us and sac got more heat than most bay cities

Until about 2 or 3 years ago I was also listening to a lot of Sac rap, then I stopped because the quality wasn't the same

I think it's the same with a lot of people outside of Sac, of course people there will always support their music but I think most people like me who were on Sac rap before ain't checking for it anymore

for me it was always the originality that sac used to have. however, nowadays there's bunch of weak lyrics, bad flows, ridiculous beats and bunch of other shit. it's like mostly everybody is trying the easy route and hopefully it will sell LMAO. or fools simply ran out of ideas and whatnot. this does not apply to sac only but all of rap. instead of quality over quantity, unfortunately it's the other way around today. i must say tho, it is also the fans that ride on dicks way too much because if they would give some constructive criticism, then there would be definitely less garbage out there. i am curious what x-raided will come up on his next solo

I do agree that Sac itself will never get truely recognized, if it is to be recognized people like Floss and Doey got to bring there boys with them (Like Bueno and DoitMovin) then they gotta bring there boys with them, etc.,etc.

As far as I can tell Floss and Doey are definitely doin it, so this is Sac's best chance!! EVERYONE SUPPORT THAT SAC AREA MUSIC!

Commercialized music is why sac shit sucks now and the fact so many of these dudes tryna be and sound like the bay no offense to the bay kats but thats they shit the gold mouths and the dreads and the hiffe shit niggas wherein babe apes what ever da fuck all them damn colors Sacramento niggas don't where fucken jellies. These niggas running around wherein see thru shoes i couldn't believe it that shit from sac. The bay but i never thought i'd see that wierd shit here. The bay always was into different stuff like that but not us. Niggas out here strung out on drugs doing dope and x pills (same thing) theres alot of reasons why the music isn't the same. We are buying into other peoples styles and not capitalizing on our own. We got the attention of the world homie so i don't know what yall talking about everybody in the music industry is looking at sac to blow but who and how will they represent and how will sac look when they do is the question. Will we be represented right or my some mainstream clowns out for a buck. But now we will see but don't count me out I said i was done but i got 2 albums i've been working on for quite some time to make sure that they hit hard and trust I kept it sac the whole way thru....

I agree, I went through a few years where all I'd bump/buy was Sacramento shit because it was good music. (1996-1998)

The last C-Bo album I bought was Till My Casket Drops

I still buy Lynch's new shit but it's nothing compaired to when he was with Black Market.

T-Nutty and Hollow Tip where tight at first but then they just started sounding repetitive to me. Just like most Sac rap now, it's not original and it dosnt fit the time. You can't do 90's music in 2007.

X-Raided is dope but pretty much the same shit every time.

Sicx - If these walls could talk was a classic.

im not from sac but from an outsiders perspective yall been had major heat all throughout the years ever since i started listening to rap

all the way up until yesterday when i was peepin m-pires new album

i can always find sac artists with heat
