Spring Bling Tour 2004
The Grooveline Magazine college tour is designed to put the artists in touch with the collegiate buying market with minimal cost to the record company. We do it by combining the presence of celebrities along with sponsors such as Pepsi, Pro-Line hair care and Dada Foot Wear that gives the student a totally fun experience while we are on campus.
We are proposing a one week tour that will run from April 7-14, 2001. Artist will report to departure city on April 6th (check attached schedule for route). We will set up an autograph session from 11 AM to 1 PM in each schools student union. During this time we will also invite out local media (news, video show, magazines, newspapers) to cover the event. We will return to the school in the evening to give a concert.
If arrangements are made we will make retail runs and radio station visits. This needs to be handled beforehand with your retail and radio promotions staff.
Grooveline Magazine will provide the following services for a fee of $5,500.00
Provide transportation for 4 people per group. (45 ft, 50 passenger charter bus)
Provide two rooms per night in a three star hotel. (Holiday Inn, Ramada, Hilton)
A street team. They will go to each college one day ahead of us to make sure students are aware that we are coming.
Radio advertisement on college stations that will permit it. Commercials will go up one week prior to our arrival. If radio is not possible we will seek out newspapers.
Five performance dates on Black college campuses (This includes your performance at the Kappa Beach Weekend in Galveston, TX.
Three production assistants, who will make sure the artists are as comfortable as possible.
In-stores and radio appearances will be scheduled when possible. We will not guarantee them in every market.
