They are not divided mainly by religion, but from origin.
Those "israelis" immigrated from Europe, US into palastine. Why would christans
be happy about it ?
Back then there were also alot of palatinian christians. And I think there are
still some.
That conflict is not about religion.

i think the whole situation is sad tho really....but u cant deny the atrocious behavior of the isreali government and military....i remember reading an article or something and they showed and interview with an isreali army captain and the interviewer asked some question like.."do u know alot of ur activities in the west bank and gaza are reminiscent of nuremberg esque crimes? and he said some shit like....well whatever happens happens or some wakk shit like that....basicaly sayin he really didnt care....

u'd think the jews of all people a big number of whom are descendants of holocaust survivors wuld be a lil more sensitive to shit like that...guess not...
