Yes I know there is another thread on this already, so mods can choose to move this or whatever, but I had to ask this question seperately of the regular thread.

So this Saints VS Patriots game was probably the most hyped up game of the year, the Undefeated Saints and the best team in the last probably 5 or 6 years, the Patriots who have been hot lately.

The Saints came out and dominated this entire game, the offense was ridiculous, passing crazy, the run was good also. The defense was just as ridiculous, they had Brady under pressure all night, and Mackenzie and McCallister, both just recently signed were great in the defensive backfield. They kept Moss and Welker in check all night.

Not that yall needed that summary and breakdown of the game if you watched it, but I said all that to ask this, the Saints are the young squad on the come up, and the Patriots are the standard in the last few years, with this domination tonight and the domination all season, is this a changing of the guard, are the Saints taking over? Or is this just a one night thing, any given sunday type thing?

The Pats will always be good with Brady behind center. They lose many players to free agency though. Their defense is lacking.

The Saints will always be good with Brees behind center. But they've drafted well and signed key free agents and now have both a good ass offense with a good defense.

Saints are a beast of a team, and I think they'll be a better team in the long run with Brees and the nucleus they have, than the Vikings with their QB situation in the years ahead... but this year, the Vikings are a more rounded team than the Saints... NO TEAM is invincible.. and because the Vikings excel in all 3 aspects of play, when it comes down to the biggest games in the playoffs, the Vikings got it... go ahead and hate, we'll see who's laughing in the end. :)

What's up with Bellicheck pulling his starting offense with like 5 minutes left in the game? That's some defeatist shit if I've ever seen it. I understand if you are winning the game to pull your starters, but when you are down you should keep fighting to the end. I think that is a losers attitude and someone should have pointed that out on the Monday night crew.

CB, I was screaming this shit at my friend when it happened! What a bunch of pussies. This is the same team that runs up the score on other teams, but when they're getting their asses kicked they pull Brady, Welker and Moss with 5:26 left..

They got dominated and they openly quit. I hope the same thing happens in the playoffs and Brady gets pulled in the 3rd quarter so he can "live to fight another day"..

I think you gotta look at this long term. Pats could be up on top and Saints could slump next year. Pats dominance is based on being consistently good, not just good one season.

Plus, the Saints win doesn't make the Pats a bad team. They'd still beat the large majority of teams. Even if they are faggots.*

*My apologies to gays for comparing them to the Patriots.

i like the pats but i agree. thats some hoe ass shit right there on belicheks part. but then again we would be calling him a dumbass if moss and brady went down on back to back plays so it kinda goes both ways, but i still agree with you. that was hoe shit.
