Is there a way to intercept my neighbor's Direct TV signal?

nope. you would need to connect your own cable to their dish and have it run to your house. and even then directv requires every additional receiver connected to be called in and activated. good luck lol

Its all in the cards. You could take your receiver with card and attach it to any direct tv dish and it would work. The signal being sent down from the satellite is basically everywhere, the dish just sucks it in and processes it for the receiver.

there's no way you can steal his signal...the only way you can recieve signal from his dish is if he has more than 1 lnb output (usually dual but most people have at least 2 recievers anyways), and you ran a line from his dish to your house, but even then you will need a reciever with a clone of his or someone elses subscribed access card...and right now there is no hack out for the new dtv cards like there was over a year ago, and you can't even clone cards right now either....it's virtually impossible right now...i've been testing with dtv and dishnet for 6 or 7 years now...
