is there a way to convert itunes files to mp3?

i bought a couple albums on itunes, and i can only play them on either itunes, or my ipod, which pisses me off, because i cant throw them into playlists on windows media player, or real player, or anything, is there a way to get around this

burn your files on a cd-r. then import the cd, and the copy protect crap will be gone my friend. works like a champ.

it isnt copy protect, its just the wrong format, cause i just wanna play it in wma or real, i dont wanna put it on a disc, but thanx, when i get a cd r, ill try it

I havent used iTunes for about a year, but if you go to the file under your documents and use an audio converter, it should work also.

it says protected files cant be converted, so i think rasan was right
