this is a tough call....on one hand he just passed Magic for second all time in assists...but longevity might have played a part in his quest....with that said...im gonna go with....NO..

I THINK HE IS,BUT IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME FOR HIM TO GET IN......HE HAS BEEN A STEADY BUT NOT SPECTACULAR PLAYER FOR A LONG TIME.........MAURICE CHEEKS GOT IN THE HALL AND HE WAS A SIMILAR PLAYER TO MARK.

He's wack, and is the reason Ewing never won a title.DE-FENSE,DE-FENSE,DE-FENSE----O-FFENSE?

All he CAN DO is pass.
Cheeks got a ring,was a dope floor general,no comparison.

I agree partially with BAMMER and TRAGIC. I agree that all he can really do well is pass the ball. He can however, pass the ball with great skill and percision. He only averaged 10+ assists for a season twice (once a solid 12+) but the amazing thing is his assist to turnover ratio which is close to 4/1 for his career. He has also been traded 8 times which can't look too good for his hall of fame hopes. Like Tragic said, he might get in, just not for a long while.

Thats what I'm sayin.

All he had was pretty good passing and ball handling. THATS IT!!! No D, No Offense, No SHOT....NO Hall of Fame
Exactly, there was never anything special about him. He was never close to being one of the top players of his era. He was not a go-to person, not clutch, no championship, the list can go on.
