I think someone on SICCNESS.NET mentioned that Locksmith from The Frontline was a UC-Berkeley graduate. I'm not sure if this true or false, but can I get some clarification on this? If it's true, much props to him knowing that it's hard as fuck to get into Berkeley. Oh boy must be a well rounded individual. Good lookin' out folks

That's real shit right there. I read that off an article on their website. Even without rappin black males out of Richmond doin it at UC Berkeley is an acomplishment. I know it's hard as fuck doin Berkeley and rappin on the level that they are on now.

yup, it says it on the "New Bay" issue of the Guardian that Lock grad from UC Berk. Locksmith spits fire with lyrics, content, clever, with a range of vocabulary. sh1ts obvious.

LOCKSMITH graduated from Berkeley and LEFT goes their now. I saw them dudes at Rasputins one day on the fluke and they was givin my boy some real sound, educated music advice. I ain't gone front I was impressed by the fact that they carried themselves like that and they took out time to point my boy in the right direction. Them cats represent the Bay in a good way...On record and off.

yea i think lock graduated. left i know is still there because i seen him and some of the homies have classes with him. they be doing they thangs, much probs to them from another cal student

but justr recently a report came out saying that african american and latinos enrollment is REALLY low...

im hoping my LATINO backround will help me!!!!

that would be DISGUSTING if i got into berkeley...it would really would be a dream come tru..

Don't they have freestyle battle sessions at UC Berkeley every Friday? Do you need to be a student to enter the rap battle contests at that school?somebody mentioned it a while back that they did have some sort of rap battle contests there every friday that was being produced by their hip hop student club. let me know if its still going on...

and to agent. yea man just make sure ur grades straight. also write a good personal statement that helps a lot. also do community service stuff and things like that. they want well rounded people. its hard to get into this bitch, but u never know i know people that got in without 4.0 so just do ur thing. as for the population, man we aint got black people, most of us are athletes and shit. the latino population is bigger but not by that much. also for males it is lower, so that might work in ur favor. good luck
