Can the guy do anything without being labeled selfish? Like they say, when your on top, someone is always trying to bring you down. Your probably going to reply with something like "I never said he was being selfish." But you did. Out of Iverson, McGrady and Kobe, why is Kobe the only one "trying" to win a title? The best way we can determine this is by looking at how the team is performing and weather or not the player scoring as much as they are is actually benefitting them. Orlando has a losing record, is it safe to say that formula is not working? Philly is barley one game above .500, clearly that hasnt been working for years. Although the Lakers record isnt outstanding, in thier last 18 games they have gone 14-4; and during this time in which Kobe is "trying to win a scoring title" they have won 6 in a row. If you were in any way affiliated with the Lakers organization weather that be the coach or a bench warmer, would you want any of what he is doing to change? Amidst these 14 wins, they are averaging a 13.5 point margin of victory. Shit, I think he needs to shoot it more the way hes playing. Hate on!
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Kobe Bryant keeps scoring, and the Los Angeles Lakers keep winning.
Bryant made it six straight games of 35 points or more by scoring 42 despite sitting out the entire fourth quarter Tuesday night as the Lakers extended their winning streak to a season-high six by beating the Denver Nuggets 121-93.
"He's my choice for the MVP right now,'' teammate Shaquille O'Neal said. "He's playing at a very high level, shooting the ball well and everybody's following his lead.
