Yes, it is possible. Communists, for the most part, believe religion or god is a private affair and should never be mixed w/politics.

I believe so, most of what the typical person knows about communism is pure capitalist propaganda, read anything by Marx, Lenin or some of the existential philosophers and they all are quite clear that religion does not mix with politics.
