Is it just me, or does that Lil Flip song sound like it came out of the Yay Area?

For some reason that song by Lil Flip "The Way We Ball" sounds like a Bay Area classic...like circa 1993-1994. I mean the beat just feels that way.

Like, doesnt it sound like that JT track "The Whole Thang" from his Playaz In The Game album? Check it out, youll see some striking simularities.

i got the instramental, i hate the song, but the beat isnt bad. any one can talk on a beat! anyways i would like to hear anyone on BART board spit on it, like MR CANE, or any one who thinks they cant, dont get me wrong i cant spit, but i would like to hear someone from here to take the beat and wreck it
