I was thinking that because its so fucking expensive to live there and your wages have to be on par with the cost of living, but at the same time the price of a car is basically the same no matter what state you are in. So is it easier to afford an expensive car like a Lex, Beemer etc in Cali, assuming you live with your parents still?

If I still lived with my parents...an expensive car is the last thing I would be buying.

An expensive car...is expensive. Doesn't matter what state you live in.

Our wages here are a little higher, so I guess in that sense it would be 'easier' but I know a lot of people who lease luxury vehicles...cheaper monthly's, little to no major maintenance, and you get a new car every two years...

the reason more people have expensive cars out here is cause they still
live with their parents till like they are 25-27 cause of the high cost of living.
shit if i didn't have no rent i would get me a range in no time.

^^^I had a girl that I started dating when i was 20, and she would stay over all the time, so getting pussy was never an issue with me. I had the whole basement to my self anyway...

I moved away and came back home from 25-27 stacked money and now I got a half million dollar home. I think it all depends on the situation. My folks and I get along great and I always helped them out whenever they needed it.

Nothing is cheap here in cali. 1000 for a shitty 1 bedroom apartment. 3.35 / gallon of gas. I'm really considering relocating. Wasn't born with too much, so in order for me to make a good life for the fam I gotta go elsewhere.

I'd have to say if you got a decent job and living with your parents, hell yeah it's easier to get an expensive car in the bay. My brother's friend is in his late 20's, single, working at a bank and lives with his parents and he bought an expedition and a bike brand new. My homie is a cop and makes $80,000 a year and lives with his parents. He copped a new Avalanche. Ain't no shame living with your parents in your mid to late 20's in the bay. Cost of living is just insane in the bay. Everyone I know from high school who got their degree and got a good job still lives with their parents and they are in their mid-twenties. Doesn't make sense to pay a high monthly to something you don't own. You better get along with your parents lol.

^^^why?

The reason I asked this question is because of lot of people on here drive some nice cars. That one dude has the Jag on 20's, and some of y'all drive Yukons, Beemers, and I remember someone having an IS300. Those are some expensive rides for people in thier early 20's, so I figured people are either hustlers or they live at home with thier parents still...
