A lot of football fans on the sicc have mentioned that Frank is on his last legs and the 49ers should address the RB position in the April. Now in my humble opinion Franky is the greatest 49er running back of all time but after 7 seasons is that good enough to get to Canton if his career really is coming to a close?

I think he still has a few seasons where he can rush for more then 1,000 yards. As far as being in the hall of fame?? No, he would need a super bowl or two in order to be discussed as a hall of fame player. He's one of my favorite if not my favorite active 49ers. He has been loyal as hell and has never thrown any of his teammates under the bus even through all those shitty years he has had to endure. A better line and coaching and Gore would definitely be in the hall of fame. Not bad for the last pick in the 3rd round, a guy nobody would touch due to injuries.

who do y'all think is the most recent sure fire hall of fame rb, that's still playing?
LT is the only back that i can think of right now, a lot of RB's with potential to be HOF's but nobody that i would consider a for sure thing.

If Ray Rice can continue to perform at an Elite level and maybe get a hold of a ring in his prime then I could see him getting into the HOF.

Ricky Williams played 11 years,

Ricky has 10,009 yards(less than 1k yard APS) 4.1 AVG and 66 TDs running. 2,606 Rec Yards with 8 tds. 12,615 total career yards
Gore has 7,625 yards (1k+ yard avg per season) 4.6 AVG and 43 TDs running. 2397 Rec Yards with 9 tds. 10k total yards in 7 years

LT has 13,684 yards (1k+ yard avg per season) 4.3 AVG 145 TDs(lol Raiders). 4,772 Rec Yards with 17 tds. 17k+ total yards n 11 years. LT has also been super durable.

LT is a for sure HOFer imo

If gore can continue his current pace for 4 more years, he still wont match LTs yardage, but his YPC is really good

the skill was there but the stats arent.

As for finding a new rb in april, i think thatd be foolish except if yall could pick up a young guy that gore can mentor. Gore has bars, and hes the #2 reason why yall made it the offs. I think he'll be the reason yall go next year too

not yet, he needs at least 1 or 2 superbowls and put up a few numbers on his record..

but he's one the hardest RB's in the NFL without a doubt...
