this has been on my mind for a while...and there are a lot of ppl who say that its easy money so ppl resort to crime...but is that really the reason?...does doing dirt get you off or get you going?

im not what youd call a criminal mastermind...but when i was involved in minor incidents it kind of felt good.

i.e., when i used to go pick weed up...nothing big, no real crime but it kind of got my adrenaline going...like a jittery feeling...the jitery feeling wasnt me drooling over the green but just kind of feeling up about the whole transaction.

ive stole shit to an extent where it would be considered a felony because id be walkiong out the door with over 2 gs worth of "items"...and while doing this adrenaline was going and it was exciting...once you start doing it, its no thing...you can do it and do it and everytime something inside you goes "i kinda like this shit"...its not something you really think twice about...you set your mind to it...you do it...and you get off on the while thing.

is crime addictive?...is it just me?...are mofos just lazy or what?

I never felt an adrenaline rush but I'd have to say that crime is extremely addictive. I myself was addicted to the feeling of power and freedom. Doing what the fuck I wanted when the fuck I wanted to do it, shit I guess that feeling was like a high. Anyways hopefully all that shits in the past now I'm trying to kick the crime addiction.

it is addictive if you dont get caught and dont know the consequences of your actions but once you do get caught and get throw in the slammer i can feel comfortable saying that it will not addictive to many of those to which might have labled as such

askG you a joke wit your "scrap" posts. And you provin it once again actin like shoplifting makes u deep in the game.

Of course its addictive tho. It's addictive to those who don't need to profit from it, and it's a lifestyle to people who turn to it to escape problems.

And you can't just say ex-cons turn back to crime because it's addictive. How you think an ex-con especially a minority ex-con is gonna get up in the groove of mainstream society with felonies and a record...as well as little or no examples of a "normal" or "proper" lifestyle by society standards.

crime can be addictive, you feel in control for once...if you steal something youd never have the money to buy, you cheated the system, you skipped all the hard work a 200 fit would take just to get, you skipped tryin to find someone whos 21 to buy you alcohol if you jack the shit yourself, even little things, i think it all has to do with control and wanting more control, i also think that the people who become severely addicted to this feeling of control are ignorant to society as a whole, and in the end, after being caught, is it really worth it?
