i dont really post over here much, but i seen this and thought id drop some food 4 thought. i dont put all the blame on the bootleggas for the shit they doin...i blame tha foo's who rip tha music...example ATX,SUT,RAGEMP3,CR,etc.. they the fuckers puttin it on the net for tha bootleggas so its a lil deeper than that just thought i express my feelins cuz this shit pisses me off.. so when they stop rippin music tha bootleggaz would be screwed just my 2 cents pz!! :hurt:

I chalk it up more to the people who are rippin the shit and puttin it on kazaa, and mirc and shit like that, but in all honesty, if the music is hot, it's gonna sell. The bay doesn't have more of a problem than anywhere else.
in all honesty, I think for every rapper out there rappin about pushin yola, cream etc.... deserves to get their shit bootlegged. they fuckin up peoples lives and their community far more than bootleggin is hurtin them...think about that one for a while

jay z, 50 cent, eminem, and more aint crying about bootleggin.....cuz they knowif their shit is good, it will sell regardless.....its the people that put out meiocre music that are praying for some stupid consumer to come along and buy a crappy cd to pad their pockets....instead of them downloading it, and figuring out its crappy or average they just burning it instead of buying it....make great music, your shit will sell, period

that bootleg shit might help the lesser known artists. if some dude pushin his cd to me on the street and says.. "yea this cd is hot. straight fire", most of the time when you hear that, the cd is garbage and you feel like you got robbed for however much they charged you for it. so lets say i get a bootleg copy of that cd or downloaded it, if its coo i would go buy it. or maybe if dude did a show somewhere i'd pick it up from him on the spot. or if the dude was featured on some compilation or guest apperance on a song. promotion or some shit like that.
thats the problem most people wont buy it. your a fan and supporter of music like most people on this website. the average person on the street dont give a fuck about the artists, they give a fuck if san quinn got 3kids to provide for, they give a fuck if their cd saids MEMOREX on it. if something is hot, they rather go spend 5$ for the bootleg or just DL it off a site or some shit. all the politics and the important shit dont matter...THEY JUST WANT THE MUSIC

I buy/support albums if atleast one of the following is met: The music is hot or the artist has a true & sincere dedication to his work. Everything else isn't my concern, I'm not their daddy. If I'm just going to give money away, I'll give it to homeless veterans or someone who truely deserves it.
I don't feel obligated to be the poor-rapper-DSHS.

i be downloading music like everybody else. But i dont be going as far as to sell some shit that i downloaded off the internet on the street and shit. That is out of pocket.
Also even if i downloaded the album, if i think its good then i will go cop. I only cop the best cd's tho.
