I don't think in today's music business major labels are going to promote artist unless they got a 360 deal or they are getting 99% of the revenue....If F.A.B wanted an album out he'd have one out....He has enough connections in the industry now that he should be able to drop anytime he wants....Even 40 said he had to pay for his production and videos for his last album...From what I know, that is what is going to have to happen for most artist on a major who have a half-decent contract....

Every artist pays for the videos and there production thru there budget allocated by the label. Now depending on your contract the artist and the label will split the cost or a certain % of the video depending on your contract that u have in place.
Interesting....But considering the album was supposed to come out two years ago I'm pretty sure theres no budget money left....I could be wrong....

Niggas like Fab and Clyde Carson seem 2 be less productive after they got they deal. They careers have been stagnant since they signed 2 majors 2 years ago.

Although yall rite about Atlantic not properly promoting FAB, I think FAB is on the rite track by touring, dropping freestyle mixtapes, freestyling everywhere he goes, and promoting himself. Hate him or love him, FAB is nationally known and has never dropped a major album. Clyde on the other hand seems to be stuck in Limbo. Bruh aint droppinng mixtapes, no singles, not featured on anything. He need to promote himself if BWS aint gon promote him.

Not to be an ass, but other than FAB and articles written about him based on his own word about being on Atlantic...where is the proof that he had a deal? Was he ever on their roster? I see Clyde doing things with GAME so it makes it easy to believe it, but I haven't seen him in anything Atlantic...I hope he is taking this time to become a Better artist and not just being the life of the party. He will get a chance to come out in a major way, but I think he might be better suited on a mid-major that will give him some attention.

The Bay has the market, the money and the talent, but the culture of not respecting its artist is almost apart of the Bay's DNA or something. The Bay LOVES to shoot itself in the foot. The artist from OG's like Short and 40 to producers like EA-Ski and CMT to Ric Roc to the respected vets like Quinn, Mess, Jacka and in his own regional way Keak to the new breath of freshair in the Bay like Clyde Carson, The Frontline, FAB, Ya Boy, Turf Talk, Big Rich...To the new R&B artist like Kesha Cole and Jay Valentine...and video producers like Taj Mahal and Rock Jacobs...THE BAY HAS WHAT IT TAKES. The Bay just waisted it's buzz on focusing on a trend like HYPHY and not focusing on the variety of talented artist and different styles coming from this small, but powerful area surrounding the water. I think the Bay can still make a change for the better, but the best players need to be playing in the game. We have SUPER STARS just waiting to shine here, but without the publics demand on the radiostations, MTV websites, XXL, VIBE, ALLHIPHOP.COM and so-on their will continue to be Kanye's and Lil Waynes out selling the ENTIRE BAY in one week.

his video was on MTV with Atlantic as the record label.
