I'm originally from Memphis and I moved up here when I was 5 and when I went back to visit fam in the early 90's Memphis was always getting crunk before Altanta thought about it.

Yep. I remember when Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz use to come to Memphis all the time to perform at strip clubs. This was in the mid to early 90's. He was a no name then when Memphis was already crunk.
