Im 23 years old and a buddy of mine has a lil dj company. He was looking for a younger cat to help him out with it. Ive always been interested in learning more about music. So I told him I would like to learn and he was like cool lets do it, but do you think that me being 23 its to late to start learning and trying to dj.

23 is no where near too old to start! If you have talent and are dedicated you can do it for sure...just practice...but practice doesnt make perfect you have to have NATURAL talent to play a role in this industry...

anyway....yeah, i gotta agree with Blaise that it takes some natural talent to really make anything of it, but give it a shot. you never know what could happen.

23 ain't too old to learn how to DJ, shit I'm 21 and know how to rap but in my case it's natural talent, I been writing and spittin rhymes since 18 and it's a hobby for me but I want to make it a CAREER on the side of my Public Relations 9 to 5. Fools clown me on this board 'cause I say that shit but in reality it'll happen 'cause I'm doing it for me and not them haters so I'm here say do you and give the haters the middle finger!

I started making beats at age 23, I'm 24 now and I'm getting better with every beat I make. Shit you gotta be grown to afford all the equipment it takes to make beats unless you got a silver spoon in ya mouth, or live rent free and you spend every last dime on this shit.
