Ok, my B-day is coming up and I told my girl that I wanted an Ipod because I workout all the time, and she said "what about an ipod nano?"...The ipod nano is about $100 less than the regular ipod, but I dont know the difference between the two...Anybody have an idea? Anbody have hook up's on ipod? Holla at me...

So is storage space the only difference? 2gb isnt that much...I should probably stick to the classic eventhough its more money..I guess that's more bang for your buck?

Base your choice on usage.

If you just use the iPod at the gym or riding the bus consider a nano. Smaller more compact. Nice if you get one of those arm bands for while you're at the gym. Good for mixes and individual songs.

Standard iPod/iPod video - larger storage. Better for full length album listening. Good if you listen a lot in your car or at work. Good if you have a docking station at home/work or auxiliary port on your deck in the car.

I’ve had good experience with the ipod 30 gig video, the 2 gig nano, and the old shuffle. All different and all good if you match them to your need.

it all comes down to the size (physically and storage wise)....also if you get the regular IPod Classic, those use hard drives so they are more likely to mess up if your moving alot while using it....the IPod Nanos use flash memory so there arent any moving parts in it...

i got the nano 4gb.. i use it only for when i workout.. any other time i just play music in my car. got mine for like 120 shipped.

I like it because its small and thin.. i might be getting the classic later tho to store alot of my music.
