I'm sure someone here knows the answer to this
Okay, so I have an 80GB classic ipod, I hadn't charged it in a couple days and the battery was almost dead... I didn't have my car charger on me, so I was listening to it in my car and all of a sudden on the screen it said Low Battery Connect to Power... so whatever I threw in a cd... well I forgot to shut off the screen... and left the ipod in my car... and left it on that shit all night and a lot of the next day
basically it sat in my car for at least 18 hours stuck on the "Connect to Power" screen
I realized it hella later the next day... and hooked it up the my ipod radio dock... it stayed on the same screen... I brought it with me in my car... hooked it up to the car charger it took about 20 seconds and then it turned on... and worked fine for that night while hooked up to the charger... I put it on the docking station last night all night and didn't do shit... still dead
so today I left it in my car charging for about 6 hours... got home hooked ie up to a wall charger for bout an hour... went to the gym... it turned on... but after listening to like 3 songs it shut off
basically what I'm trying to figure out is my shit just really really dead and just needs to charge for a long ass fuckin time... or did I fuck up the battery somehow and need to replace it?
I know that's a lot to read, sorry
