so I was trying to sync my ipod before work this morning... a box popped up and said "The ipod cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (-48)."

so I said fuck it... and went to work... I dipped home during my lunch and tried to do it again... it started syncing my music and podcasts... then it started to sync my photos... it was takin hella long to sync my photos and I had to get back to work so I just unhooked my ipod and was bout to leave... then I looked and all my music, videos, everything was gone off my ipod... it was empty...

so I hooked it up again... I hit restore to original settings... hoping that would work... I just got home from work and now it said it was unable to restore it's original settings... so I took it off again and hooked it up... and it gives me the same error as it has before

anyone had this happen or have any idea what to do?

I got the 80 GB classic ipod

it's one of the newer ones they came out with about a year ago

I got it to work now... kind of

I left it hooked up over night and it only synced like 330 songs... (out of around 9,500)

I have album artwork for damn near every album and only some of them went on my ipod.. most of them didn't

when I checked it this morning itunes wasn't responding... so I had to alt+ctrl+del and close it down... then just pulled my ipod off

I guess my computer may just be fucked up or something... I don't really know
