IPOD question - can u get songs off a pod?

my friend was telling me about ipod rip which will take songs off an ipod and put it on a computer. Is that possible or has any1 done it?

Yes, download a program called ipod agent, it works great. I have the shareware version that you have to register after 15 days, but I only needed to use it once, so its all good. Check out www.ilounge.com for ipod stuff. BTW, you have to uninstall itunes before you sink up your ipod or everything will be lost...

www.copypod.net ....no uninstallation or none of that needed, but it only lets you copy 100 songs at a time w/ this trial version
