iPOD format question. I need some help!!!

Ok look I uploaded all my songs from the windows format. Now i'm using an Apple laptop. When I plug my shit it it says, "I need to restore my factory settings" if I want to tranfer songs. If I do restore to factory settings I will lose all my saved songs on the iPOD. SO how do I go about saving songs to the IPOD without losing them?

You have to go into your iPod settings and choose

Manually Update Songs...

Just plug in your iPod, then right click it and you should see the preferences there...

MY IPOD NANO DOESNT HAVE "MANUALLY UPDATE SETTINGS". MAN THIS SHIT IS PISSING ME OFF. SOMEONE HELP A DUDE OUT

it's in iTunes..and in the edit then preferences option..buh ur ipod gota be in it for that to work

if thats not your original computer you uploaded them all from and onto your nano, i dont think you can upload them without deleting em all

^Yeah you can, like other dude said. Go to your original computer and open iTunes and set it to manual update.
