first official interview. since he's a up and comer i wanna make sure that this is read so i'll paste it here instead of puttin a link to the site. Shots to J-Boss of Team Wrongkind for helpin wit the questions

Me: What's good homie? Why don't you let everybody know who you are and a little about yourself?
Gee Gee: What’s good everybody my name is George Conley officially known as Gee Gee Bstone. I’m from San Diego California. I’m 19 years of age and I graduated for Lincoln High School 2008.

Me: First things first, how long have you been rapping?
Gee Gee: I have been rapping since the 7th/8th grade. It all started at my grandmother’s house in Bay Vista, where my cousin came back from Florida with all types of music equipment and beats. Later in High school my click in me called “KOE” had already had a name in the streets as far as being bad etc. So we figured if we are so called “bad boys” and most of the people in the click can rap lets rap also. So in the end of my 9th grade year we had a hit song called “Slaps 2 the Max” ft Charley B, J Sparks. Every since people my age started playing it everywhere in San Diego I knew that if I didn’t get out one of us will.

Me: That's what's up. Do you have any projects your currently working on?
Gee Gee: I’m currently working on a project with YT a Los Angeles rapper that already has a big name for him-self. The song is called “My Girl” ft. Yt and the beat is done by San Diego’s on BatKave.

Me: Have you released any singles recently?
Gee Gee: Not really released anything but group things and some mix-tape songs that people heard me perform and liked. The two biggest songs that people love to here right now is:
“check my swag out” http://short.to/13eqy
“you nasty" http://short.to/14azm

The songs ft. me/Gee Gee bstone, Jay Jacks and Jukn.
On the beats Chosen and JP

Me: Do you plan on working with any particular artists?
Gee Gee: I really don’t have a particular artist. I’m trying to do a song with how who wants to do a song with me weather it is a feature or my song. I’m DOWN!

Me: Are there any artists you would you like to work with?
Gee Gee: I would like to work with San Diego’s own Mitchy Slick because he has set the tone for San Diego rapping. He comes with the whole package. Also I would like to callab with more other artist that are out there in California

Me: Seeing as it's a long, hard road to make it in this business how do you plan to approach the task?
Gee Gee: I plan to approach it in everyway possible. I ask people everyday for feedback. I post links on twitter, facebook, myspace and I even email people on the daily.

Me: What is your take on the idea that rappers from San Diego will always be in LA's shadow?
Gee Gee: My take on that is San Diego can be like LA if we just push more. I’m talking about the radio stations out here the Dj’s start playing more local songs etc. Its like you go to LA they play every LA local artist song that is hot on the radio and in San Diego ratio stations don’t show us that kind of love. Such as Z90, 98.9 etc

Me: How do you think a rapper/musician from San Diego can break the seemingly never-ending cycle of not making it big in the music business?
Gee Gee: Just push hard because hard work plays off. If you have to travel city to city then do what you have to do.

Me: What are your thoughts on the topic of staying independent vs. signing to a major label?
Gee Gee: I mean be personally if the Def Jam can to me and was like we want to sign you. I’m going to sign. I mean that’s Def Jam. But I understand that most people don’t get to write there own music if they were to sign but that’s how the game goes

Me: How would you describe your music?
Gee Gee: Well im not a jerk artist but I support the jerk movement. I mean now southern California is known for jerking now. So that’s they songs going going to hear. Well not necessarily songs but more jerk beats. But I describe my music to be what people want to hear. A lot of people like my music I just have to get the whole San Diego behind me.

Me: How do you feel about the overall talent and music in san diego as of right now?
Gee Gee: As of right now. We are moving up. We have the jerkinradio.com now hosted by San Diego’s own YellowNigro and Dj Birty Bird on Mon-Wed-Fri and they play San Diego artist songs and everyone tunes into that radio station across America so we are getting up there.

Me: Who are your music mentors or influences?
Gee Gee: My influences are every single person in the rap game because the are want makes me keep pushing.

Me: Do you think you see a san diego movement coming soon? for example atlanta had its time, houston, the bay area, new york etc.
Gee Gee: Hell yeah. I can see San Diego getting up there. All it takes is one hit song for the world to here and we are on are way.

Me: Any last words for the people?
Gee Gee: My last words are to all my fans the support me I love you. Also shout outs to all my San Diego rappers. If you wanted to Callab email me at [email protected] . Also if there anyone out there who’s about there business stay strong because sooner or later its going to come.
