United Nations International Gun Ban Treaty is scheduled July 27th 2012.

0bama and Hillary are scheduled to sign International GUN BAN TREATY on July 27th 2012.

The Supremacy Clause of our Constitution says that treaties are "laws of the land" and cannot be overwritten by acts of Congress or acts of the State Legislatures. So IF the senate ratifies The UN Arms Trade Treaty that 0bama and Hilary intend to sign July 27th,the UN Gun Ban will VOID THE SECOND AMENDMENT!

Im torn by this, becuase i get the whole :this is the US...we love our guns". However, there is more gun violence in the US than any other European country and isnt involved in a conflict...and its not even close. And that whole mantra of "guns dont kill people..." shit is an extreme misnomer. Make no mistake about it, guns DO kill people. If those same folks had a billy club, it might be a different night for both parties.

I dont like living in fear of being shot if i piss someone off, and im not one of those "fight fire with fire" dudes either. I just want to live my life in peace and i only hope the same for others.

After they ban guns, the guns will still be on the streets. It's impossible to confiscate all of the guns that already exist. That's why banning guns will never prevent any gun violence. They banned guns in Mexico and look at how many murders the cartels are doing.

the ban on guns is not to stop big criminal organizations like the Mexican cartels killing people but more the individuals who shoot each other over a petty argument or a $20 drug deal. a recent example of where this would help would be the zimmerman case. if dude wasnt legally allowed to own a gun so easily then the kid would still be alive.

LOL, that's not the reason....its much bigger and complex than that. They just want guns banned so they could control the unarmed civilians.

You're complaining about one person being killed by one gun.

I'm saying Hitler took the guns .. only gov had guns...
then he killed MILLIONS...

looks like Gun Control is more dangerous then someone bring shot over 20 dollars..

The US is nothing like Mexico in that a) the US is not a 3rd world country and b) there is no real "cartel" up here...

The gun ban should have happened 60 years ago here. Places like London dont have a gun problem becuase they eradicated it years and years ago. Now, the US has basically fucked itself.

I understand guns are and the outlook on guns in America are part of the problem but in the end I dont see a real solution. Im interested on how they will enforce this if it passes.

speak for yourself but id rather be able to safely walk the streets at night than slow down the government takeover a little on the very unlikely occasion that something like that actually happens. the facts are there that say countries without guns have less problems with them.

IN MY OPINION. THE GOVERNMENT GIVES US THE RIGHT TO BARE ARMS AS A SECURITY BLANKET.

SO WE CAN THINK WE HAVE CONTROL OF THINGS.

THE ORIGINAL PURPOSE WAS TO DEFEND OURSELVES AGAINST FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC THREATS...WHICH INCLUDED GOVERNMENT.

NOW AND DAYS WE COULD PROBABLY GIVE THE GOVERNMENT A RUN FOR IT'S MONEY,IF IT CAME TO THAT POINT.

BUT REALISTICALLY MOST AMERICANS WOULDNT HAVE THE HEART TO REVOLT.

PLUS PEOPLE AINT WILLING TO GIVE UP THEIR I-PHONES,JORDANS,AND I-PADS.

FOR REAL FREEDOM.

yes lets ban guns for all LAW abiding citizens

so that the underworld is in possession of the only guns in america....along with law enforcement that we see handling all situations with so much respect, calmness and lack of stupidity

what a way to keep people away from gun violence
