very true, however u can compare them both for this year and to say Kobe is doing more is stupid, and sure u can say the same about LeBron doing which makes it pretty even, then u should look at who's more important to the team? and in that case u lean toward bryant then A. u dont know much about what MVP stands for or just dont understand basketball. or B. ur a laker/kobe fan and really dont see how LeBron deserves it a tad bit more. it's really no question in my eyes between these 2. if u look at stats then LeBron got Kobe beat, not by much but still beat. the only thing Kobe got is the better record but thats because he has the better players around him therefore making him less valuable which is the whole point of most VALUABLE player. and just so i'm clear if u feel Kobe should MVP and ur not a Kobe/ Laker fan please state reason just to have a good debate going

I have always felt like they have had a mutual respect for each other. It seems a little stronger on LeBron's end, but isn't that how it should be?
When its all said and done, and LeBron has done as much or more than Kobe, then it shoudl be different, but for now - the future has to give it up to the vet.
