thats a reference to when vatos from CBX3...shot down a ghetto bird in the 80s it was the first time that shit happened as far as i know in california...that varrio is crazy as fuck..they did that shit twice once in the 80s and again in the 90s....
it happened on new years eve appearantly...im not sure how they shot it down...one fool told me they had some AK's and they wounded the pilot and then it went down...but i dont know for sure...
then i heard it wasnt the gang that did it but the brown berets from the local chapter that did that shit..

and pomona and claremont for sure is considered inland empire...we even have the same newspapar and shit as them the inland valley daily bulletin....and u can go into pomona seeing signs called inland empire credit union etc...county line dont really mean shit just for the gangs...

Yeah that's a trip because 909 is pretty much synonymous with the IE but there's a few neighborhoods in LA County that claim 909. Then again in a few years the state of California will fuck all that up and create some more area codes around there like they're doing here in OC they're thinking about splitting up the 714 and creating a 657 area code. That would be 2 extra area codes in OC in the last 10 years, they just created the 949 in '98. Hopefully my area will keep the 714, I already have that shit tatted on me...lol
