Wut up ya'll. I haven't been on here as of late, im a lot more busy of a man than I used to be. Anyway, I though I'd let you guys know about my show experience in Mt Clemens.
Unfortunately, all the opening acts were lame. All the 'juggalos' did kind of annoy me, but I just kinda sat at the bar drinking discreetly with the "X"s rubbed off my hands. I met up with King Gordy, and he told me about how he is the newest member of Project Deadman (new PDM in the works?). Syn, from Zug Izland signed my friends breasts. Another of my friends ended up passing out in a parking lot drunk as fuck for like 2 hours (layed out on the concrete, lol) and missing Tech's set. Then my other boy got arrested for being drunk in public. Never mind all that nonsense though, its just some events of interest leading up to Tech N9nes set. They did BEEF live, wich was tight. Unexpected. Tech dry humped some random girl while the backward talking in "Freaky" was playing. They did "No Can Do" wich was fuckin fire, thats gonna be one of the many beautiful songs off Everready.
As usual, the set was cut kinda shorter than anyone there wanted it to be. I ended up going outside and saw Tech, Kutt, some girls wearing the TECH N9NE shorts/tops (stage dancing girls) and then a few other cats I didnt know. Kutt had the most fresh KC hat that I've ever seen. I got my Murder Dog signed, and asked Tech a few questions...
1) The Em and Lynch song will FOR SURE be on Everready, like most of us already figured out: its all a matter of getting in the studio.
2) I asked Tech: "Whats this I hear about you doing a song with Twista?" and his reply was "you heard about that? yeah, we got Traxstar on there and..." at wich point he somewhat evaded me mentioning Twista and him on a track together, and we both just talked about some production on the album. He said he's waiting for Ronnz to send him something, but he cant say for sure if there will be a Ronnz produced track.
3) He mentioned also a track he will have in the movie "Alpha Dog" (for those of you who also acknowledge Justin Timberlake is on that movie soundtrack, lets make it clear that Tech and him are not on the same song) and of course the song in Madden 06'.
4) Kutt said he has 3 more songs to lay down flows for, then he will drop his mixtape. Tech said we will see Funkra "soon", but didnt give me a time range. And "The Rain" with his baby girl will bring a tear to our eye when we hear it.
5) "You gonna do a song with Yuk???"
"Oh fa sho, you know we gotta have the Regime on there."
I know this isnt a whole lot of information, or new information... but consider it confirmation from the man himself on what to expect soon. I honestly believe to the fullest there is a Twista/Tech track recorded somewhere, because Tech seemed very surprised that I mentioned Twista. For what reason he isnt throwing that information around is beyond me. I let Tech know that Everready seems like it will be a bigger album the any previous, and he let me know that that is the exact thing he's aiming for. This is all on Tech N9ne's own terms ya'll- and I get the strong impression that this album wont get pressed until Tech gets EVERYTHING right that he wants on it.
but, there is a few things I wished I woulda remembered to ask, so Im hoping this is going to become a thread dedicated to what us fans can find out from tech n9ne personally. He isnt hard to get a hold of if you go to his concert, ya just gotta be determined and know how to talk to the right people. a couple more things... if any of you guys end up meeting Tech...
someone ask about what tracks will be on Vintage Tech Vol. 2
keep it keebler ya'll, Ill be lurking...
