while a pair of guards, the Loss Angeles Fakers Ko-Me Bryant and the Phoenix Suns Stephon Marbury, earned co-Western Conference Players of the Week honors for games played Monday, January 6 through Sunday, January 12, 2003.

O’Neal averaged 19.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.3 assists in leading the Pacers to a 4-0 record.

Marbury helped lead the Suns to a 3-1 mark by averaging 28.0 points, 9.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds.



A look at O'Neal's week:

Jan. 6 at Philadelphia – Had 17 points, including the game-winner with 1.7 seconds remaining, 13 rebounds and three blocks in 105-104 overtime victory against the Sixers.
Jan. 8 vs. New York – Had 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in home victory over the Knicks.
Jan. 10 at Orlando – Had 21 points, four rebounds, four assists and a career-high three steals in 101-97 overtime victory against the Magic.
Jan. 11 vs. Golden State – Had his best game of the week, tallying 23 points, 12 rebounds, a career-high five blocks and three assists in 12-point victory over the Warriors.

First off, he talked about Kobe in this thread, so your saying he is on Kobe's nuts? Secondly, he did win player of the week you fucking idiot. HAHAHAHAHAHHA, and you wonder why you get no credit here. Thats why i talked about Kobe, he was the western conference player of the week as stated by Menace.

By your own defenition, You are hands down the biggest Kobe groupie/obsessor around here, I think everyone (other then your hating squad) can vouch for that! Give him props? Did you ever give props to our posts about Laker players having success? NO. Therefore you are a victim of your own accusations. My favorite team is the Lakers, my favorite player in Kobe, this is a sports forum, and cause i talk about it here i am a groupie? LMAO! Kobe cant stop Marbury from doing good, besides, Kobes stats are better then Jermain's and Marburys for the week.

Ofcourse his stats are better cause he is selfish, the most selfish in history, but it still want good enough to earn him outright player of week, that must tell u sumthin!! Selfishness wont get u no where!! GOT EM!!

Right. If you are selfish you will go nowhere, get nothing. On the contrary, Kobe has 3 Title rings, just won player of the week, is in contention for MVP, and leads the NBA in more statistical catagories then anyone else.

Neither Webber, Nash, Payton, Marion etc. were even in contention for player of the week, Kobe was (and won it) so yes, it does tell me something, Kobe is playing better then anyone in the western conference.

Neither is Kobe... he has bigger fish to fry then the both of them. Also what does selfish have to do with anything? I know you throw it out there alot thinking I, or another fan will get mad, but clearly is doesnt work, and has nothing to do with this topic. First off, I never said he lead every major statistical catagory, but nice of you to yet again put words in my mouth to make yourself look right. What people result to these days. Im wondering if you saw the part where i told him I was talking about the MVP front runners? Of course not, how would that benefit your bashing rage... HAHAHA.
