The rap game has become more digital while cds are are going extinct. Technology has been evolving many things. How many people actually buy a cd now and how many people just burn cds? Mainstream artists and major record labels are feeling the impact as well but the independent record labels and artists feel it the most and in some cases causing labels to shut down due to spending money and time on a project only to be burned instead of bought and in return using that money from sales to be put back into the record label for future projects and promotion. With that being said if people continue to burn songs on cds and transfer songs to iPods then you may see and hear less from underground artists but even when cds are gone people will still be doing and already are doing the same as they do with cds. It's been said that cds only have a couple more years to be around before downloads take over while cd stores continue to close down. Bottom line just buy the shit if you like it. If it's worth bumping then it should be worth buying. Support the real and fuck the fake, it's quality over quantity at all times.
