Niggas tired of puttin 16-19 songs on a album and having it bootlegged. Plus iTunes only gonna pay you for 10 songs anyway. 16-19 songs is overkill a lot of the time and can make a great album just good and a good album to just okay. If niggas gonna make an album with 11-14 songs they gotta have high replay value imo. I first saw the trend coming back when the Clipse dropped Hell Hath No Fury. That album was fire the whole way through so you end up playing it OVER AND OVER. If you look at all the classic albums from back in the day most of em didnt have over 13 songs. We so used to fast food music that we want to overindulge. The doper albums are shorter. Yall better get used to it. It aint gonna change no time soon.
