Playa Rae~ its ya boy Young Cap holla'n at cha! man, check it out, im tryin to network, but catz right now is too wrapped up on names that made a dent in the game and not with tha new talent thats out! i'm tryin to get out there, but no love is bein shown. am i doin somethin wrong? or is it just too many people stay one track minded? kick some knowledge please! whats really goin on here? 1one1

I feel what your speakin on and to be real honest....take one look at all the comps and so called "SOLO" albums these days and look at all the similar Names on them. I feel alot of folks are afraid to come up on their own name....well, I dont know if I should say fear...I just feel it's like they think they need the Name to help em make it.
Take it from me and Dugout. We were caught up in that as well when we first started an paid some money for names when in the long run it never really helped us Sales wise. It did help us in the Networking Dept. but our goal was sales and that failed. We were at a point where we thought Dugout needed to show we had connects with these names and can hang with them music wise. We didn't need to show that, cause we got nothing to prove to anybody...but sometimes the game makes you feel that way so we got caught up.
Are we caught up now? Naw, I know ALOT more about the biz now and know that I can make Dugout's name stand out on it's own with pure hustle. So far it's workin. As for cats not wanting to work with you cause your not a name....the easiest way I know is for you to take your music, mp3 it, host it online and post up links to it so folks can hear you and your style. Once that happens you may get some cats that will be like shyt, lets network get on some tracks together etc.
The thing is, folks won't network until they hear what you comin with cause it's like they dont wanna say HELL YEA and then hear the cats music and be like damn, it sucks what do we do now? You feel me? You got heat, lyrics and much more I know...cause you and I have worked together and I would never have put you on to HC2C Vol.2 if you didn't but these cats don't. I can help you with posting music brotha..so let's make that happen and get some feedback.
As for the music & gettin' on more shyt...lets get together off this site, to a chat or in person and see what we can do aight...maybe I can get with you on some tracks and help you feature on some shyt. I don't know...lets chop it up tho aight.
