not from the city of LA but from the county yeah. then you have to drive through all that bullshit Gorman and the Forest and then finally you get to San Fernando and then thats actually considered part of the city of LA (not anywhere near downtown of course)

I think a lot of people in Northern California think of everything pretty much south of Fresno as Southern California. Being that Santa Cruz to San Luis Obispo (sp?) is Central Cali, the Fresno/Merced area is the Cental Valley, anything further south is thought of as Southern Cali. And I mean that in a geographical sense.

I even think of Salinas as Central Cali because its on the "Central Coast" and all that. Its confusing but I honestly dont see bakersfield as Southern Cali. Thats just me tho.

I think of Salinas as the Central Coast too because on the map, we're pretty much in the middle. I guess folks here or further north think of Bakersfield as driving way down south while you (or others in your area) would think of it as driving way up North. LOL!

On topic, I like the fact that the person who started the post is from "down south" but can enjoy music from somewhere else. Me personally I listen to all forms of rap, because I'm a rap fan.

I come to this forum because I like Woodie's music and think he's got a story to tell. Also, a lot of my young homies love him and other artists who post here/are affiliated, etc., and they don't have access to the net so I come here to keep them informed.
