If you dont know anything about cameras (it appears that you dont since you're making this thread)... I dont recommend dropping 700 dollars on a camera just yet. It might be a litlte over your head.

You should get a high end point and shoot , That way it'll be cheaper... and easy for you to use, but still good enough quality to meet your needs.

I seen some folks talking about the Canon Rebel XT's in the past... im thinkin bout gettin this one. I need something that will click off a couple shots a second.. rather than one shot and then waiting for it to set again.

I personally can't stand the rebels...But I wouldnt listen to Crumbla...I guess if your just starting off than the Rebel is a good one, It's fairly cheap for a Digital SLR and will get what your wanting to do done.
