On Tuesday, consumers will get their first taste of the "new" Starbucks as the company launches a blend of coffee called Pike Place Roast, with free cups of coffee served nationwide from noon to 12:30 p.m. ET.

From then on, the coffee will be served every day in every store, brewed fresh every 30 minutes.

I think more people care about price, and can't afford a fucken $5 drink everyday... Lower the price!

I'll take a Starbucks coffee over any gas station coffee anyday... I don't care if I pay a dollar extra, the taste and strength is worth it. Gas station coffee tastes like pure water to me, ew. I have to admit, I went a Starbucks binge for like 6 months. I quit once I moved though... I used to live right by one, but yeah... that shit gets hella expensive after a minute. I do what dude said above now... I make my own... Folgers Columbian Roast... good shit I drink anywhere between 12 to 16 cups a day... so I save a lot by makin' my own now.

I like those iced Micky D's coffees.. and their premium roast. is great.. for the price..

Added? Are you talking about the "skinny" drinks? If so, they've had sugar free syrup for awhile. They just came up with name recently. A venti skinny caramel latte is much easier to order than a venti sugar free caramel latte with non fat milk, lmao. I hated saying all that shit.

God I hope Howard Shultz and his shitty coffee looses out to Mc Donalds and other competitors. Fucking idiot thought that there would never be competition and got way to big. Now he has to come up with all these stupid gimmicks to get people to pay 6 bucks for 10 cents of coffee. Just like his dumb ass thought that having 30 investing partners when he bought the Sonics was a good idea. How the fuck did he think that all those investors were going to get returns on a sports franchise and remain happy.

yup, i work at starfucks for now, until summer rolls around n i can work full time, but uh..
yeah just go in there, and ask that you just wanna try it, and say that you read in the newspaper that you can get a free tall cup of coffee, well they will give you this card where you can get 2 free cups of coffee, of pike's place, its pretty good, its their 'original blend' supposedly, but i actually do like it, but um yeah you'll get 2 free cups of coffee every wednesday w/ that card until may 28th.
so hey, if you don't wanna pay just ask for a card, and say you read it in the newspaper. Oh and those skinny drinks just have splenda instead of real sugar, which isn't that great for you if thats all you drink, the "aspartame" scare in diet drinks, i dunno tho, i'm coo offa cancer causing shit, so i just stick it out and drink fattening drinks if i want somethin good lol.
other than that i'd suggest chai latte, its not as bad, that i know of.
