If You Can't Read By 4th Grade, You Go To Jail???

I was talking with a teacher today and she was telling me about this study that they are doing among prison inmates. I guess the common theme that they are finding is that most of them could not read by 4th grade. They are now saying that if you can't read by 4th grade you are most likely going to end up in jail or pregnant as a teenager. What do you think about this?

(And I was told about this, I haven't looked any farther into it yet)

Well if you can't read by the 4th grade there is a problem. Either a learning problem or laziness. I don't know about going to jail if you can't read by the 4th grade. Maybe the majority of the kids that can't read by the 4th grade have some similar problems at home maybe with there personal life that would affect the way they live, which might lead them in that direction. Atleast Clinton didn't let thousands of Americans die like bush did. Bush could have prevented the attack on the world trade centers. He stopped the FBI from looking into terrorist activities months before september. It's like he was waiting for it to happen so he could reap the benefits of it. One of the high ups in the FBI actually quit because of this, and became the head of security at the World Trade Center. He was killed on 9/11.

but he did let hundreds die at the american ambassies in tanzania, africa and on the USS Cole. and how many died or were injured in somalia. and if you wanna blame bush for the WTC you should throw alote of that blame over towards clinton who knew that bin laden was a major threat and behind the above attacks and as we all know the WTC
