I don't believe in him but I doubt he would have used it.
If he really didn't want to get crucified then all he would have to do was to chop both his arms off.
They could still hang him though, but then would probably every christian be walking around with a rope around their neck right about now instead of a cross.
Better yet they could have decapitated Jesus, it would have been extremely funny to see a headless Jesus rise up from the dead and walk around in Jerusalem looking for his head, unable to speak he would be showing napkins where he had scribbled "I'm the messiah, have you seen my head?" to dead-scared bystanders.

I dont "believe" in Jesus, but I remember a scripture in the bible when the Romans came for him and one of his partners reached for a sword and Jesus told him to sheath his sword or something like that. It cracks me up when "Christians" try to justify War, capital punishment or anything like that when its obvious that Jesus was a non-violent person. He had plenty of chances to kill people who oppressed and murdered his people yet he never even tried to do so.

If Jesus had an AK-47 he'd probably have a name written on each bullet for every devil there was on the face of the planet. And since he's Jesus he don't miss or shoot at shadows. He'd also probably have a tattoo that ran down his middle finger that read "FUCK PEACE" when he was flippin mothafuckas off.
