Not all african people are christian today. But, even if they were never enslaved in America there would still be some Christian Africans. Also many African Americans, in spite of slavery and oppression in this country, rebelled being Christian and became muslim or what have you. Maybe if there wasn't slavery in our history there would be less people rebelling as they did and more African Christians. Its all speculation though...........
