if a car audio speaker goes from having tight bass

it's a stock car speaker so I can't see it. hopefully I didn't blow it. I wasn't even bumpin it that loud. sometimes I can hear the speakers in the back of my car and other times it's just like they cut out and I can't hear anything out of them. anyone know why that would happen?

oh.. so it's not a sub.. just your rear inside speakers?.. when it does play.. does it sound good or fucked up.. if it sounds good.. you could have a loose wire.. if it sounds fucked up.. you blew it.. set your fade to the rear and check the balance to see what side it is... hopefully one of them works.

yeah just the rear inside speakers. when it plays it sounds good. it seems to only work in the warm weather lol. i think it's usually the right rear speaker

my bucket is a 2000 and has hella miles on it. I'm not sure it's worth doin anything to the stock system now because I might not have this whip for too much longer

next time make sure your amp has around the same RMS wattage as whatever is running through them. otherwise its just a matter of time before your shit blows out cuz you gotta crank that shit to make it knock putting too much power into the speaker
