Ya, that IP belongs to AOL. That will be of pretty much no use because AOL dynamically assigns their IPs at every login. Meaning many different people have used that IP--so in short there is no way YOU can find out who it belonged to at the time in question. However, the authorities could if they wanted to get in contact with AOL.

lol @ Xianex. Perfessionally I used to be a Network Administrator. I moved away from that as far as my career but I still mess around with networks. Currently I'm a "Registered Representative" of a NASD member firm--AKA registered stockbroker. Which was just made offical about 2 months ago. However, I don't really like the term stockbroker--whenever people hear that they tend to think of the movie "boilerroom" which is nothing like what I do. I work in a financial planning office so there is a lot more involved then that and we deal mainly with retirees so we usually use mutual funds anyway.
